Surgery costs

As LASIK is not part of the billing of SHI-accredited physician services, statutory health insurances do not reimburse the expenses. With private medical insurances, in exceptional cases, costs are repaid though only partially. Usually you have to cover all the expenses yourself.

Billing according to medical fee schedule. All pre-examinations and follow-ups - as well as potential corrective follow-up procedures which in rare cases can become possible - are covered by those costs. Students and apprentices are entitled to a reduction of max. 10% on presentation of their student resp. apprentice identification.
